These days there are so many different ways to get your phone, internet and TV that the choice can be bewildering. We've brought together some tips here to help you find a way to get everything you need that's within your budget.

Line rental only discount

On 1 April 2018, we’ll be cutting the cost of line rental for some of our customers.

If you’re one of the customers who gets this discount, your line rental will go down by £8 a month. So if you pay Standard Line Rental, it’ll go down to £11.99. And if you get Line Rental Plus, that’ll go down to £13.99, see below who can get the discount.

We’ll arrange it all for you and you won’t even need to sign a new contract with us. It’ll stay the same as it is now. You’ll see the £8 discount on your bill after 1 April 2018. But we’ll also get in touch again nearer the time to remind you.

Who gets the discount?

If you’ve got a landline with us and no broadband at all, through BT or any other provider, you’ll get the discount. But you won’t get it if you’ve got BT Basic or Home Phone Saver. That’s because, with these packages, you’re getting a great, discounted deal already. You can switch but you might find you get a better deal with the package you have now. It all depends on how you use your phone.

If you’ve got Line Rental Saver and you’ve paid for line rental in advance after 1 April 2018, we’ll add a credit of £8 a month to your bill for the rest of the months you’ve paid for.

The discount is only for customers who have a line for use at home, so businesses can’t get this.

Customers with broadband and phone line bundles

The discount is a ‘line only’ deal, which means it’s for customers without broadband at all. If you’ve got a line and broadband bundle with us, you’ll be getting a great package deal already.

And customers who only have a line with us miss out on all the benefits that come with broadband, like BT Sport, BT Mobile and the millions of our free wi-fi hotspots across the country.
