Technology

 THIS SCHEME IS NOW CLOSED

This is the most exciting time to be working in technology. Today. Right now. The digital and physical worlds are blurring, and the pace of change keeps increasing – that’s why our Technology Graduate Programme is the scheme for you.

This programme focuses on building a broad future skill set for our graduates by completing 3 rotations within the Technology division of BT. Technology is BT’s powerhouse and has a unique position in the business, bringing together technical and commercial expertise, with an insight and passion for customer experience, Technology helps BT stand out from the competition. With the best networks and smart innovative products, Technology sets BT apart from the pack.

The rotations are approximately 8 months each and, depending on your location, you’ll have the opportunity to rotate across different Technology functions – such as IT, Dynamic Infrastructure and Converged Service Platforms (which includes TV & Broadband).

Across these business areas you could develop:

Software Skills - designing, testing and operating our systems which are used to deliver vital services to our customers, who vary from large, multinational corporations to individuals using our products and services at home. You could develop these skills by working on voice (fixed or mobile), TV, content delivery, mobility or security and you’ll have the opportunity to not only develop knowledge of the software lifecycle but also put it into practice

Network skills – by getting involved in all aspects of our core networks, designing, building, testing and operating fixed and mobile network solutions across the globe. You’ll develop these skills by working with technical innovators in communication, electronics and information technology and getting involved in a range of technologies transforming our network platforms and services

Technical Consultancy skills – by working on highly technical projects and programmes to make sure they are rolled out successfully with our customers and working with our technical teams to look at new and innovative ways customers could use our products and services to make sure everything we create is commercially viable.
