In this issue of In Touch you can read about how Openreach is putting Cardiff at the front of ultrafast broadband rollout. And there’s a case study on a high-end jeans company, with customers across the UK and further afield, who are benefiting from superfast broadband. There’s news about a new Cardiff housing development where Openreach will provide ultrafast broadband to eight hundred new houses and apartments in one of the largest deals of its kind in Wales.

BT also supported two events in Wales - visitors to this year’s Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod and young farmers at this year’s Royal Welsh were able to keep in touch and up to date with the help of ultrafast speeds thanks to Superfast Cymru

And EE is the first UK mobile network operator to offer customer service in Welsh and have also switched on UK’s most powerful mobile site in Cardiff. EE have also presented the UK's first 4x4G drive-in movie experience in North Wales - residents of Henllan in North Wales were invited to a drive-in cinema experience with a difference.

And finally BT Cymru Wales was announced as the first private sector organisation in Wales to sign up for the ‘Work Welsh’ scheme and BT have celebrated 80 years of the 999 service, more than 4.8 million calls are handled from the Bangor call centre in North Wales.
