In Touch
South East
Spring 2017

In this issue of In Touch there’s news of how a partnership between Openreach and CALA Homes will make fibre broadband available to some housing developments in the region and about a business in Kent which has become the first in the country to order new ultrafast broadband technology. BT has also announced the creation of new apprenticeship and graduate jobs in the South East in its drive to equip young people with the skills and training needed to meet the challenges of a changing jobs market. There is news about how primary school pupils in the region have benefitted from a pioneering education programme to boost their computing skills.

And you can read about two winners in our region, a school in Hampshire that has won a trip to the BT Tower and one of our apprentices who won a top prize in a National Awards Ceremony.
