In this issue of In Touch you can read about another community in our region which has signed up to a Community Fibre Partnership and also further funding for Better Broadband for Norfolk. BT has also announced the creation of new apprenticeship and graduate jobs in the East of England in its drive to equip young people with the skills and training needed to meet the challenges of a changing jobs market. And you can read about the how primary school pupils in East of England have benefitted from a pioneering education programme to boost their computing skills.
Finally it’s a great honour to have been appointed as a member of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) by the UK Government. The EPSRC is the main agency that funds research and training in engineering and the physical sciences in the UK. It is great recognition for the pioneering role we play in engineering, science and research in the UK.
