BT is on the look out for great ideas that help businesses get the very best out of digital
Announcing the latest BT Infinity Lab competition, Will Pryke, director of operations, breakthrough innovation, in BT explained:
"We want to hear from emerging companies offering innovative services that help organisations enhance and maximise their digital presences. Services could include tools that help anything from online sales conversion, content discovery and site stickiness to monetisation, customer insight, analytics, or personalisation.”
He added: “Other examples would be services that deliver mobile optimisation or improve customer advocacy and social engagement."
Silicon Valley awaits
For this, the sixth BT Infinity Lab competition, BT has teamed up with the GREAT Britain campaign, and UKTI (UK Trade & Industry).
The GREAT Britain campaign showcases the very best of what Britain has to offer, encouraging the world to visit, study and do business with the UK.
Entrants finishing in the top three a place each at the TC3 Summit in Silicon Valley in September.
Will Pryke added: “TC3 is the premier annual innovation event focused on telecommunications. And it all takes place in Mountain View - the heart of the US technology industry. The great thing about TC3 is it introduces the leading innovation and venture executives to hundreds of new technologies and companies. It’s the ideal opportunity for emerging start-ups with services relevant to telecoms providers to attract significant new customers and identify investors."
The Infinity Lab Programme, builds on BT’s rich history of engaging with start-ups and encouraging open innovation. It provides a front door to the company’s engagement with entrepreneurs and start-ups across the UK tech community.
The closing date for applications is Sunday 14th June 2015.
