Supply chain engineer
If you join in this role you will provide a safety testing and repair service to our customers to make sure our equipment meet the legal obligations under the Health and Safety legislation.
You will train as a field or desk based network engineer working on complex customer equipment within core access and IP Networks. We are looking for passionate and driven individuals with a desire to work with new and old technologies.
In Service Operations you could be doing anything from fixing complex faults remotely on customer's equipment, to managing the end to end provision of our Ethernet service. You could also be working across BT to ensure we stick to our service level agreements that we have in place for all our customers. If you are customer focused and driven with an interest in engineering, one of our roles will be for you!
For our advanced programme you will need to have achieved or are predicted 4 GCSEs at grade C or above including English Language and Maths, although you will need to have a B in Maths for our supply chain engineer role. In addition you will need to have a full driving licence..
For our higher programme you will need to achieve (or have achieved) 2 A-Level qualifications with a minimum of CC grade by September 2017 (or equivalent qualifications). In addition you will need to have a minimum of 4 GCSE's at grade C or above including English Language and Maths.
Equivalent grades are accepted.
